Im pretty sure this and the last page have pushed the Clovis/Brutus ship even further into non-canon. Unless he likes seeing his comrades incinerated by his boss.

Page 946. It's a flawless mana crystal amulet given to Clovis by Brahn in payment for staging the attack on Edinmire that raised tensions between the Templar and the Wolves. Presumably, it maintains the illusion spell that allows Clovis to appear male without having to waste regular mana crystals. It's probably does some other neat stuff, too, lol.

Brutus: "C'mon, Boss! Don't be like that! It was super cool, wasn't it?" Clovis: "It was... SO COOL! Roan was all like, 'No, wait!' And I was like, 'Now see my true form!' And he was all, 'AH!' Then my arm went, 'BWAAH!' And Roan went up in flames like, "Fsssssh!' " Brutus: "I knew it! You're the coolest, Boss!" Clovis: "I AM the coolest, aren't I? Now, let's get you out of that cell. Then we can go get lunch." Brutus: "Oh, boy! I want fried chicken!"

The musculo-skeletal shot as Roan is roasted is both beautiful and terrifying...it's probably the most graphic scene since Laura's flashback in the Basitin Islands arc...
