Given the info in the "notable civilization" I'd imagine you'd need to investigate the body vs glancing or starring. Lol, given how we dress animal pets I wouldn't think cat clothing would be loo much of a clue. Go Ninja Cat Keidran !

I wonder, how similar WOULD they be to 'actual cats', if they pretended? Are they basically biologically identical, except for slight differences to their hip-joints and front paws? Or would any lay-man recognize the difference, if they came across the naked and unconscious body of one (unconscious, so they can't give away the answer. A naked corpse is a more morbid alternative)
