If you can't handle these kinds of jokes dan you better leave becouse of there's likely coming alot more of these jokes in the future and jokes are mean to be jokes no matter how "dark" or "terrible", they may seem to someone if someone or a group of people can laugh at something you don't find funny or bad that is their sense of homour. I bet if they laugh at something bad it is either they know how severe it is or they don't know or they don't care how bad it is. There's alot of things we don't know about other people so you can't completely judge someone without the picture or someone being blurry you need a clearere picture of someone to understand better of who they are

Only want to say that it functions as more than ~just~ a joke in the confines of the Twokinds narrative- in that the reveal as it was done and how the story has developed only served to illustrate that the in-canon presiding society of Mekkan is rife with a variety of intolerance, and misunderstanding and something of a force of the characters to overcome. Think of the general past ignorances as a villain in its own right against where we'll be led by the story (*pointing at the past few most recent pages*) and character development. (learning, teaching, sharing, growing) You can't get somewhere better, without coming from somewhere darker. That, I feel will be the whole point of the growth we actively see in our team of heroes; that through their friendships and bonds they are trying to be superior to the world around them and even their <i>very own</i> incorrectly-formed preconceived notions of things in hopes, eventually, to usher in a better, more righteous populace (including them) and be a beacon of positive influence.

The original was 15 years ago, and the joke here is the characters are surprised by the character swap. It's a meta joke now. Trans people exist, okay? I've worked with enough of them, and they don't need your "help." So take your righteous tone back to Twitter and shove it.
