Early on in the comic, Lady Nora had cast an illusion spell that turned Mike female. The illusion spell wore off and this was the last time Mike was portrayed as a female in the strip. That said, Mike has often been drawn as female outside of the main comic, including in the PIxie Prank Comic, and Tom's Patreon art. Tom even created a more voluptuous version of fem Mike called "Very Vixen Mike", which is the version shown in this artwork.
