From what I’m aware of. He’s meant to be a mix of a variety of species attributes. Based on any particular species alone. Otherwise, we’d have an assortment of Basitin race suggestions like we do with Keidran ones.

The ears, sure, could be (though we’ve seen them described as more rabbit-like) but everything else (except possibly nose? I don’t think we’ve seen it in enough detail to judge) is cat

(nature documentary voice) and here we see a level 6 ranger, with his chosen familiar, the tiger. he managed to roll very high on the others, and now has taken his role as the party summoner, with spells to buff his ever growing horde of beasts. quite a rare sight indeed.
