It's done by magic. The standard explanation to cover (or uncover) any unexplainable event or thing in this world. Perhaps some residual Basitin black magic still clinging to Mike. Another possibility can be found in the sketch stream when Tom actually drew and then removed some small horns on the white duck when it was suggested in the stream chat that the duck was Nora. Was it a joke? It would appear so because Tom didn't include Nora in the sketch tags so apparently Mike managed to somehow pull this off all on his own, both figuratively and literally.
