I think she's choosing to be blatantly obtuse. As someone who can't have kids and knows it to her core, relationships might actually be a sensitive subject for her. A defensive mechanism for her may be to simply ignore the more passionate aspects of relationships. That's not to say she has zero passion, far from it. Canonically, she is very passionate about helping those in need, and she loves tailoring new clothes. Give other circumstances, she may even love another (too early to tell if Zen fits the bill). My theory is, especially with this sketch, she's trying to cope.
