I actually inked and flat-colored this years ago, but for one reason or another it was never finished. I cleaned it up as best I could, added shading and backgrounds, and now here it is, done at last! Suggested by Laruf!

Plus I see a lot of comments about how this is a "vision of what's to come" vis-a-vis Flora when she's older, but I suspect Flora's bone structure isn't going to change much since she's already an adult lol.

It's intriguing how Flora's mom has the more pronounced feline facial structure in contrast to Flora's more humanoid features. I can't remember if Flora's dad has ever made an appearance, but I wonder if she favors him more? I know the tigers and (in sketches) the foxes have both humanoid-faced members (Flora, Mike, Laura) and more "feral" faced members (Tiger Matriarch, Above-Average Fox) of their species, and although it's probably a byproduct of Tom's evolving art style, it would be neat to see an in-lore explanation (even if non-canon) of the varying levels of humanness of keidran.

LOL. It's funny you should mention Flora's mom being a cougar. I'm working on a story and one of the side arcs is a 42 y.o. female bear is having a relationship with a 28 y.o. male puma. It was a couple of years after I started that before I realized I'd made the bear a cougar to a cougar. I still laugh about that accidental situation.

It's a trope in anime, like in Fullmetal Alchemist for Example, that the Mother of the Protagonist who is dead always has the exact same hairstyle to the point that anytime a Mother figure appears wearing that style of hair, it's an indication that the character will die, probably brutally, at some point in the near future.
