Euchre has his paws in quite a small world. He’s Raine’s dad, he was a father figure to Flora, and he was also Trace’s teacher. Small world.

I think poor Raine here is going to try steer the subject a little...knowing that Euchre did care about someone and gave them a parental figure, but didn't deign to visit her, or even contact her...it must sting. She can't begrudge Flora, she knows, because...well...Flora didn't know. I wonder how Flora's opinion of Euchre could shift when she learns the rest of the story that Red was giving her... Still. I hope the mood lifts a little. I would like to see Flora and Raine interact a little more, for sure.
