I know it's not Earth -- but if, for the moon's shape to make sense, the sun must be above the horizon (at night), then for that to look wrong the actual map is kindof irrelevant.

You might want to rotate that moon (counterclockwise). It's oriented upwards, which only happens at daytime for obvious reasons. It also needs to be fuller, but that's artistic license. ;-)
