I'd probably try to request Desire Catcher again at some point later on cause the bromance hehe but atm I too would go with the current c-dramas: Whispers Of Fate was a surprise for me, totally taking over my life cause I loved the story/friendships/bromance so much XD I haven't fully finished Blood River, but it's a fun watch so far and yes my fav part again is the (bromance) bffs ^^

As an aside, I really have trouble empathizing with assassin-type series. The killer redemption arcs rarely move me, even if the characters have a compelling backstory. The minute an innocent is killed or a person whose only crime is belonging to a competing sect is killed, I tune out my feeling for the character as a lead, no matter how handsome they are. There is so much else out there to watch that I pass these by. This is, of course, my personal opinion. I know many such shows are widely popular.

I recommend one of my favorite Korean semi-bromance fantasy series: Goblin: The Great and Lonely God. It is superb.

dashing youth is my vote! (if you haven't seen it already lol) It's the prequel to blood of youth & blood river (kinda), it's got Huo Minghao (Zhu Yan / Wang Ye), Xia Zhi Guang (Ruan Lanzhu) and Zhuge Qing (forgot the actors name 😅) (Probably more but I haven't whatched it yet myself so it would be really fun to watch with you haha)
