Last time I was summoned for Jury Duty I told them I couldn't be unbiased so they dismissed me. The worst part was waiting for 3 hours before my group even went in.

The two times I've been summoned it was a lot of hurry up and wait. I recommend a good book to pass the time. Maybe the script for "Twelve Angry Men" or "Jury Nullification for Dummies".

As someone who's been through it twice, it is really interesting if you get called, but maybe bring a book or something to keep you entertained. It's a lot of waiting. I have no advice about actually being on a jury though. Not picked either time I served, unfortunately.

If you donβt want to be a part of jury duty, when you get tot he final stages make yourself sound as biased as possible and they wonβt select you.
