Really glad for Soren, dude's doing good. Also as sad as it is, I understand why someone as smart as Claudia would fall for her father's manipulation. She wants to see the good in him. She was in denial about him telling Soren to off the princes, but realized it was true, but Viren's excuse gave her an excuse to go back into denial. On top of that, she already lost her mother. She's still alive but we haven't heard anything about her at least visiting or sending letters, so she likely has abandonment issues around losing family. Also on a lighter note, Rayla and Callum chasing down the big creature gave me Vah Naboris vibes. If you've played Breath of the Wild you'll probably get it

Claudia is smart, yes. But her biggest problem is that she doesn't want to loose her family. Back in Book 2, she confessed to Ezran that her mother leaving was the hardest thing she'd experienced. And then she went with some crazy dark magic to try and heal Soren. Above all else (and I mean ALL ELSE), she doesn't want her family to fall apart.

This might be the last patreon reaction I see from you for a bit, but it was a fun one. I don't have a job still even after applying to multiple locations and it is getting harder to keep trying. Still this was a fun reaction, I hope that you and your family are doing well and are safe. I hope you continue to enjoy the Dragon Prince, even if it irritates you sometimes. Btw Ezran was locked up because that is how it happened in history, when one King was dethroned and a new one was installed. Most times the previous King would become a prisoner of the new one, after that moment it's hard to say what would happen. This is still a show for like teenagers to young adults so I don't imagine Ez was in any real danger, but I am very glad Soren got him out of there.

To the point of the cycle of violence, while only the 3 queens died right away the war against the dragon king and xadia saw more deaths that we don't know if it's more or less than the lives saved.

The relationship between the two could have been a little slower. But honestly, I am happy not to have the usual anime trope of the two characters you *know* are going to get together in the end spending the next 400 episodes almost but not *quite* getting together. I'm looking at you, Rumiko Takahashi.
