Here's my guitar story. When I was 13 my father bought me a guitar. I wanted a fiddle but my dad figured a guitar would be quieter. My teacher taught Spanish and Jazz guitar. I loved that guitar but although I played well I was chronically shy and as it was Spanish guitar I chose to play I often had to perform solo works. Anyway years later my cousin decided he wanted to play and as my guitar had sat unused I let him have it. Some months later I found out not only was he not playing he was keeping it under his fucking bed! I quickly organised a rescue and took my old friend back and lovingly cleaned and retuned it. I now have a Raimundo Espana which my hubby got for me from Spain, and although its as rich and mellow as wine, I think I love my old boy more, as he saw me through many unhappy teens.

😊💕Cool, when I was 18 I bought a moped on hire purchase, sent my mum grey early with the worry of it... Found the payment card for it a couple of months ago when we were going through her paperwork, she kept everything,.!!

I know a lot of guitar players, many who own many guitars, so i know what guitars mean to them. Its a beautiful one you've got there. Bet its got a lot of stories of its own. Always wanted to learn, but had more fun watching and hearing guys play. I'm a sucker for a man with calloused fingers, who's good with his hands. 😏
