Oomf my heart. That was satisfying to hear. Back in college I had a guy (who I thought was my friend) get handsy. Try to give him all the nice ways to say I'm not comfortable with what he was doing but the guy just didn't back down. Ended up with me having to avoid him as best I can by taking different routes, avoiding the cafeteria and just hiding out in the library. So yeah this audio hit a little close to home. I didn't have someone like Hank to help me out, so I won't lie this was nice to hear. I wish more people would help each other out like this. Now that I'm older, if I see a girl who looks uncomfortable I try and give her a way out of her shituation by acting like we know each other. But yeah, having a guy like Hank stand up for you, it just makes my heart flutter. It's nice to be saved. I wrote too much 😅

And thank you hun 💖 Honestly, although it’s left me majorly messed up (I’m cripplingly terrified of drunk men, shouting scares me half to death, especially from said men, I have dissociative episodes and panic attacks and certain things, like the pet name ‘princess’ or any Eminem music, will trigger nasty flashbacks for me), I’m also a fraction grateful because it’s given me experience that no woman should have to have and as a result, not only do I have insight to help others with that I wouldn’t have otherwise, but I also, bizarrely, have learned more about myself as a result. I actually became very self-destructive, but in the process, also learned healthy alternatives, such as different lifestyles and the kink community, which allowed me to figure out how to channel those tendencies into different things that were constructive instead. Very confusing, but kind of positive outcome anyway lol.

I 100% agree with both of you. This is an example of what a *true* man is like. Yes, women can hold their own much of the time, but it’s nice to know there are men out there who know how to help us deal when we can’t or someone won’t let us. And I totally agree about the interaction. I was second-hand-blushing over how sweet he was with the cab, because that kind of protectiveness is the kind of thing that absolutely makes me melt. Call me old-fashioned but chivalry will win me over every time 🥰🥰🥰

Hank, I think you successfully captured what it feels like to be harassed by a goof like that. It's pretty fucking accurate. Even though I knew the method to your character's madness, you still made me feel that annoyance at your overly aggressive behavior, minus the fear that often accompanies it in real life. Women shouldn't have to rely on decent men like you or their boyfriends/husbands to help them out in these situations, but sadly it's the world we live in.
