It's Halloween night and originally I had to work early in the morning so I wouldn't be able to stay over but knowing you as well as I do and knowing that you'll watch a bunch of scary movies and then call me in the middle of the night, I told my boss I'd be in by 10. So I show up at your place with pizza, snacks and drinks so I can get into my pajamas and cuddle on the couch with you so you can hide behind me and grab onto me when you get scared and obviously I'll stay over so you can hold onto me in the middle of the night...

You turn up at our place loaded with goodies, pizza, beer, candy, movies (and maybe a spoopy stuffie to protect us when were feeling scared and you're not there) on Halloween night because you know it's our favorite holiday but also know us well enough by now to know that we will eventually be calling you because we scare ourselves silly and can't sleep. So you surprise us by coming over with a plan of spooky movies, shoulder to hide behind and lots of cuddles.

Hank, you're the best protector. So thoughtful. I love Horror Movies, allthough I'm always a little scary after. But that's the Best at it. I can cuddle and snuggle into my Husband like the whole time and he likes it to because he can protect the hell out of me. We cuddle most of the time when we watch TV but he says it makes him feel special when I'm in that mood.

Listening to this, I realized that haven't seen any horror movies lately๐ค I used to watch them all the time... Having grown up with horror games, especially stuff inspired by George A Romero, so probably I like the movies that they watch๐ But I do remember... that the black and white horror movies felt scarier. And that I don't feel like eating pizza as much as I do when watching zombie movies...๐ Personally, I'm more afraid of vengeful spirits like Sadako than zombies, so I couldn't be considerate of girls' fear, but I bet she's cuteโบ

I love scary movies and I felt called out so many times! ๐คญ๐๐ I loved that laugh at the start, just before you knock, when you could hear she was already watching something and then answering 'Its me,' in that amused tone. As if she had crept up to the door and asked 'Who is it?' in this tiny spooked out voice. ๐ Ok, I'll admit it...this was actually my request and you nailed it perfectly! ๐ It was exactly what I had in mind so thank you so much, Hank!
