Prepare an oregano tea with honey and lemon. You put the water to boil, when it comes to a boil, you add a teaspoon of oregano or the amount you take with 3 fingers, not much so that it is not bitter, you let it infuse for 1 or 2 minutes, you serve it in a cup, strained , and you add the juice of 1 lemon and 1 tablespoon of honey, or more if you want it sweeter. It is an expectorant bomb. While it is hot, inhale the steam it emits, that hot steam helps decongest. It is an ancient Mexican remedy. I hope it helps you.

Rest, Hank. Please! I hope it’s a cold and not the flu. Get well very very soon! ♥

It's amazing right? I go through a box or two every time I'm sick and honestly just love the tea whenever.

Oh no. 🥺 I’m so sorry that you’re not feeling well. - hot water, lemon juice, honey, & your desired alcohol or tea (I make it for the work kids with just lemon, honey & hot water. They swear by it, but claim it works because I make it with love in my heart ♥️ They think that I’m a witch making a potion 😂) - drink LOTS of tea & water. Flush your system. - for congestion… hot water in a bowl poured over Vapo rub or eucalyptus oil. Put a towel over your head over the bowl & deep breaths - 3 drops of oil of oregano under your tongue. Tastes SOOOO nasty, but scares the cold right out - hot showers several times a day & stretching. The stretching sounds weird but helps with achy muscles - and lastly, my cold killer chicken noodle soup… I’ll send some over! Please rest & look after yourself. You work too hard & deserve rest & care too. 💕

Ginger tea is a good one👍 get ginger, shred it, then steep it in hot water. It should do the trick! Also, Buckley’s seems to work for me too. Sorry to hear that you are sick 🙁 get well soon! 😘

We have a old family recipe which is honey, lemon juice and Bourbon . I don't have the recipe anymore I just eye ball it and mix it to taste. You take it like cough syrup a couple of tablespoons every two or three hours. Ginger tea made with fresh ginger is good too. If you can find a nasal spray with menthol that works pretty good or good old Bucks or mentholatum I've heard people suggest putting it on your feet I've never tried it but it's supposed to work. Feel better.

I know one recipe that helps with sore throats, two tablespoons of lemon juice one teaspoon of honey, give it a good stir and drink it slowly so that it coats your throat

Sleep is a good one. Sleep and Nyquil. Don't forget the chicken noodle soup and Ginger Ale. Canada Dry is the best one

What I'm hearing is that you need me to come take care of you. Ok, on my way. Lol I usually drink lots of hot tea (I find Traditional Medicinals Throat Coat tea works really well if you have a sore throat), get under a comfy blanket or go to bed (raise your head up with 2 pillows so the congestion doesn't sit in your head but starts to drain), run a vaporizer next to the bed, take Sudafed (the good kind, with the pseudoephedrine - have to get it at the pharmacy here, but no script needed), get your "snot rag tee shirt" (I'm still not sold on that, lol, but definitely worth considering), have some ginger ale if your stomach is upset (I warm it in the microwave for about 15 secs then stir the bubbles out) or ginger candy, pull down the shade or curtain, tell Jake and Elwood to behave (good luck), put a glass of water next to the bed, and take a nap. If they doesn't work I'll fly up and help you out. You can never be too safe. I do hope you feel better!

Oh my gosh...I'm sorry...I know I shouldn't laugh, but maybe it's because of my imagination or some kind of telepathy... I'm also feeling a little weird with my windpipe and nose after listening to that audio, so we're cold friends!🤣 So let's cure it together👊👍🤧 ・Put the honey radish syrup in hot water and drink it. You can also add lemon or ginger. (This is also a method that people who do voice work usually utilize) ・Wrap the neck with roasted salt baked in a frying pan or something (my mother used to do this when I was a child, but I don't know if it works now). ・Breathe in the steam of the hot water poured into the cup. ・Raise the humidity in the room by hanging wet towels in the room. ・Gargle with Black tea, Green tea, or salt water. ・Use Kleenex instead of T-shirts😊 Most of the above are for throat symptoms. The others are common, but warm up your body and sleep well. Eat *easily digestible foods* and take adequate nutrients. Drink plenty of (hot)water (I wish you had Pocari Sweat in your place too). Take vitamins C and A. It would be nice if there was a doctor with knowledge of Kampo medicine there for another option...💊 In any case, if it's really bad, please go to the hospital🙏🏥😢Until you get well, I will send positive vibes that the cold has blown away quickly to somewhere else!🌬 Good night and hope you can have a good dream🌙

Lots of water, vitamin c, sleep and vicks vapor rub. Get well soon, Hank! ❤️ No need to go method acting on us so please don't inhale the dust next time! 😊

I usually find something hot and spicy to eat. It might be torture if you don’t like spicy food (I don’t either) but it helps clear things up a lot. Regular hot tea, hot shower, and some vitamins should do the trick ♡ Another tip, try stacking several pillows directly underneath your upper torso and head and make yourself a kind of wedge pillow, it can help you breathe better while sleeping too. Get well soon Hank! It might take a while...
Spooky Lyns (Lynsey)
Oh no, Hank. 🥺 I hope you feel better soon. For me, when I'm ill, I have to have Lucazade but that may be more of a comfort thing from my childhood, (and I just googled to see if that's a thing in Canada and apparently it's illegal so maybe not that for you 😁). Sudafed decongestant, lots of rest, keep warm and keep hydrated. I normally bed down on the sofa and have a Lord of the Rings marathon 😌. Oh, and ice cream for your throat. And if I feel really bad, I heat a little brandy and sip that. I hope whatever you try kicks it's butt soon, Hank! Take care. 🧡
Amanda
Hot peppermint tea with some honey and lemon and ground ginger if you like. Warmth will loosen muchus and peppermint is anti-inflammatory and honey soothes as well as being antibacterial. Lemon for vitamin C. Ginger anti-nausua. PLENTY of liquids and rest luv ❤️ feel better soon. Vapo rub on chest and top of feet with socks.
Sweet Phantasy
Hot Toddy ALWAYS! Tea, honey and a shot of your favorite whiskey. Rinse & repeat! 😉
Bee
Absolutely 💯 Guaranteed! A HOT TODDY 🥃 with honey, lemon, whiskey and a dash of hot water from the kettle. Works like magic ♥️ Also, if your ears are clogged up, wrap a hot water bottle with a soft towel or blanket and lie your head on it, the heat soothes and melts stubborn wax. Finally, put some vicks vapo rub in a bowl of hot water, cover head with a towel and inhale. This was me last week 🤧 ..... I have to say, the hot toddy worked the best. 😘 Get well soon X 🐝♥️
maria
Try putting some warm coarse salt in a sock and place it on your chest a few times a day, it helped me so many times 😪
Becca
And you said that it was just dust that you breathed in... 😅uh huh... butt I'm sorry to hear that you really have a cold. * Hot water with fresh ginger and lemon juice * Hot milk with honey * Steam bath with chamomile or a few drops of eucalyptus oil * Freshly cooked chicken soup * lots of fluids with viramin C and D * Lots of rest and sleep. * And most importantly, if you have a sore throat, DO NOT talk.🤨 ( no recording) I hope you feel better soon.💞

Something told me that this was gonna happen! 😞 I was just praying I was wrong! But honestly, there’s a lot of good tips already mentioned! Unfortunately for me, mines always involving my sinuses/allergies so there’s really no remedy besides some temporary relief from time to time. Nasal sprays, any kind of decongestant (and if it’s giving you trouble with sleeping try some Advil PMs, usually 2 of them does the trick for me), some kind of vapor rub or mentholated essential oils on the bottoms of your feet with some socks to protect it, if you’re having any body aches from it, I use pain patches where the aches are the worst (usually I go for the cheap brand cause they work just as good) and plenty of water/juices and rest! I hope you feel better soon, Hank!! ❤️

Have you used up all your Rhino? 😉 Other than that: Vapor Shower Tabs 👌🏻 Hope you feel much better very soon! 😊

Best thing ever!!! I also love the Vicks Vapo Shower Tablets, I gave them recently to my nephew, he was having a really bad cold and so stuffed up... by the end of the day after using these in the shower and the humidifier...that kid cold smell colors..lol

Breathe Deep and Throat Coat tea are my BFFs when I am sick. Or you can elevate any teas healing power with a little grated ginger and coconut oil for an antiinflammatory and antimicrobial boost. Coconut oil and honey help with cough as well. Also oregano oil is very powerful. I supplement it as ONE drop in a glass of water (always dilute it) it is pretty spicy and can burn the lips a bit but some people like that ;) Just careful not to have too much as it can cause heartburn. Like I said potent stuff, and your burps WILL taste like you had Italian food for a while hah! Not entirely a bad thing. Anywho, I'm in the same boat right now, but I hope it passes soon for you.
Rachael
Sorry to hear your not well, hope you feel better soon!! 🤗💜

1. Mint tea, it can relieve some cold and flu symptoms. The aroma from peppermint seems to help open nasal passages. Menthol has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that may also help relieve these symptoms. 2. Vicks Vapo Shower Tablets Soothing Vapors, you can place in a hot shower the steam added on to these really helps. 3. Honey in tea and 4. severe medicated sore throat or cough drops ( bonus is that you can also add them to you hot teas for extra relief to sore throats or bad coughs ) 5. Most importantly..REST...and lots of it!!! I hope these help, I think I can agree with everyone's great remedies that we just want you to get better soon.

There are 3 things that helped me a lot, 1. In your warm tea ( it shouldn't be hot) add ginger ( fresh or poweder) + fresh garlic ( i know it sounds weird but it's important) + lemon juice + honey and try to drink it once per day. 2. Peel some apple and cook them in boiling water and add cinnamon to it. Wait for it to be warm and eat/drink it. 3. Cut some onion in half and leave it next to your pillow while you sleep. I know it smells bad but it helps with throat pain. ( just make sure cats doesn't come around while you're sleeping bcuz onions are poison for them) ⚠️ Avoid physical activities, sweets and alcohol because your immune system needs to be on maximum level of power in order to get better faster. 💠 Drink lots of warm liquids. Vitamin C, zinc, and chicken soup with so much onion it it can help a lot as well. ❤️ Love you!! Get better soon!! 🙏

Oh no, I hope you feel better soon, Hank! 🥺 The number one cure would definitely be lots of rest and sleep (I know… That may be uncharted territory in Miller world 🙈😉 But I’m sure your body will love it if you let it rest and recover ❤️) Some of my favorite cures also include frozen grapes (if your throat is sore), tea with ginger and honey, ice cream, watching your favorite movie. And cuddles with the kitties. Let’s not forget cuddles ❤️🩹 Feel better soon!

Pheonyx
Chicken noodle soup, Robitussin, hot showers, and sleep. Works everytime!
Heidi
I'm sorry to hear you're sick, Hank! First advice would be rest up as much as possible, sleep and stay cosy. I For a sore throat I have honey and lemon juice either with just hot water, or sometimes in black tea. If you can get hold of some blackcurrant cordial, that as a hot drink with honey is so good and soothing. I swear by a good brothy chicken noodle soup when I'm *not* sick, and when I am, it's extra good. Lots of fluids in that as well as veggies and nutrients! I hope you feel better soon! 💛🥰
Viktória Rózsa
Make some chicken soup and put a whole lemon's juice in it. Pure vitamin c and it tastes very delicious!
Sarah
My mother always had us take turmeric and honey on a spoon when we had any kind of sickness. It doesn’t taste the best but it always seems to cure me some how. Honey will soothe anything inflamed, and turmeric is also an anti-inflammatory. Tea and soup is always another great option for soothing 😂 and just straight up medicine will always help. Hope you get better soon though! ❤️🩹
Ady Hdz
Paisana! Yeah, grandpa used to say that of tequila didn't cure it, it'd make you forget about a cold. 😂 Do you also drink acuyo tea?

Ginger, lemon, honey, and chamomile tea. Consult your doctor and mind your allergies. Eucaliptus scent also does wonders to clear your nostrils. Above all, lots of TLC, rest and liquids. Get well soon.

I drink lots and lots of mint, ginger and lemon tea. And if i want to breath through my nose, which is preferable in my case, i put some Vicks in a large bowl, pour boiled water and inhale the fumes as best as i can. I swear, i can smell my thoughts and everything in 2km radius

As someone who always gets a cold, unfortunately I don’t have my own remedy 😅. I always hear about making chicken noodle soup helps, having honey to soothe the throat etc. My advice from what I have done is get plenty of rest, get plenty of sleep and if your nose is blocked get yourself some nasel spray. Hope this helps, hope you feel better soon Hank.
Carla Mikkelsen
Rest and ginger ale, and any light foods like soup

Take a hot shower, get some spicy soup and put some Vicks vapor rub on your chest it will open up your pores
Anita
Oh no! 🥺 I hope it passes soon, Hank! As for remedies, DEFINITELY rest!! 🤨 And also ginger lemon tea, as putting some fresh ginger and a squeeze of fresh lemon into in boiling water. And maybe also a steam bath: putting some salt or a bag of camomile tea into a bowl with steaming hot water and covering your head with a towel over it. Hope that makes sense, it’s hard to describe, lol. 😂
Abby
Garlic. Cut some garlic cloves up in small pieces and drink them with water as if they were pills. If you’re coughing, chop some onions and put it in two plastic bags. Put your feet in the plastic bags and put socks over them to keep the bags in place. Sleep with the onions on your feet overnight. I know it sounds gross but it works! Also, Vicks Vaporub, rub it in as if it’s a body lotion and as if you’ll die without it. 😂 Plenty of water, c- and d-vitamin ❤️ Feel better soon Hank 🥰 Much love, Your friendly witch. 😂
Giselle Webber
Hugs Hank, I’m sorry you’re not feeling good. Honey lemon in your tea helps. For a cough a spoon of honey.
Vicky ❤️
Well ...as a Mexican i can say that the best cure for flue it's a shot of tequila, but...if that's too much, chicken soup is really good also ginger tea with honey, i hope you feel better soon 💕🥺

For me the best thing to do is just to sleep it off and drink lots of fluids.
