I really needed this wholesome friendship tale. I have recently had people I considered to be good friends ghost me out of the blue for something I have not done so this whole story really hit home for me. I am in that place right now, where I just don't want to do anything or leave the house. If it wasn't for my husband I don't know how I would cope.

This was MUCH needed this evening! After the day I had I didn’t want to do ANY of the housework that was required today. Then I remembered this got posted! So I went for it and boy did it change my mind set while doing the quick odds and ends that needed done! I appreciate how you do the cutlery last when washing dishes cause that’s what I do! And thank you for wiping down the counters after! 😅 if your dish washing is anything like mine, you end up with more water and stickiness on the counter tops than on the dishes themselves! Especially if there’s pots/pans/bigger stuff involved! 😂 I’m CONSTANTLY wiping down my damn counters! I loved the fun you made out of picking up dirty laundry and at least getting it to the laundry basket. I need to do this with my teenage daughter and see if it motivates her to actually put hers in the hampers first! 😂🙌🏻 And last but not least, I’m gonna agree with so many others here… that hug at the end was much appreciated! (And very much needed, as well) ❤️🥹 Thank you for this gem, once again, Hank! You’ve, as always, out done yourself! 🥰

I find it helpful to play upbeat music to help start the ball rolling in these kinds of situations; Give Up the Funk by Parliament, in particular, comes to mind. ;) Willing to trade laundry and hugs for dishes any day.
