🕑 Added 2021-03-09 18:38:30 +0000 UTCA quick test, wondering if I should try a mixed media approach for the “line art.” My lightweight, bright white drawing paper takes watercolour better than I expected. It warps, but probably not so much that it would interfere with the scan. 🙂👍

:)))))))) Welp, I’m just about done roughing-in the first chapter, so that exact thing is right around the corner. I’m worried less about it being a headache and more about getting good at mixing pencil, ink, and paint by the end of the book, so the early pages look like Buster Keaton tumbled all over them.

Love the looseness! It seems to lend to the feel of this book being a prequel, set in her past.

Why not .... do some test images and see how you like working with it? It looks really promising, but I'd hate to commit to something and then realise it's actually going to give me a year-long headache.
