July Week 4 - Update

Let's get the big news out of the way. Itchio and Steam have been hit with some bans and de-listings from Collective Shout and Visa/Mastercard. I won't get into much detail but ultimately, it sucks. Itchio was our main platform for marketing and new viewership and now, we cannot effectively use the platform the way we want for project and player growth.
We've been aggressively working on getting the game ready for Steam for the past few months and we've now even heightened that priority. It should be ready for approval in a month or two so when the page does go live, we hope you wishlist and spread the word!
As for now, we'll try our best to continue development as usual. It was quite demotivating knowing that Sugar Service won't get the usual surge of new players from Itchio whenever we post a new update but we'll still be posting the new Public version here as scheduled and we'll hold-off on updating Itchio's version until Adult Games are back and re-listed.
We have quite a handful of CGs to go (Ramona, Sylvia, and a bunch of calendar event CGs) but we're putting a pause on it to work on the H-scenes for 0.18. Here are the sketches of the positions you can expect!
We've also done a bunch of Quality of Life updates, a LOT of gift-asset replacements (for Steam approval), and a big balance update on how the gift shop and clothing shop work.
From now on, they do not rotate items daily, instead. You may request the shop to rotate their stock of inventory in exchange for a 'Markup Tax' on the prices. This is to help balance the game for the mid-late game as gifts are too easily obtainable after a certain point.

Hasn't been asked before actually and that's undecided at the moment. I have to talk to publishers about a guesstimation and then Steam themselves would provide an educated pricing suggestion as well.
