We have put the cavalry lances with dimensions similar to the real 3.5-4 meters for a rider of 1.65-1.75. You can see it in the smaller rider.
Do you prefer them in those dimensions or do we make something smaller.?
Aquí tenéis un caballero en un estado casi final. Falta retocar las telas y algún otro detalle menor.
Hemos puesto las lanzas de caballería con unas dimensiones similares a las reales 3.5-4 metros para un jinete de 1.65-1.75. Podéis apreciarlo en el cabalero mas pequeño.
Las preferís en esas dimensiones o hacemos algo mas pequeño.

I see a lot of concern about the fragility of the lances. If you look at it, it is the same thickness as the horse's leg. Before realism or rendering, we are concerned that the miniature is resistant. And of course it will be tested before you receive it. We are not going to give you a lance that breaks just by looking at it.

I'd second this even though I'm not in the running for those models. I think one of the powers of the 3D printing market is indeed offering things such as a more display style longer lance and a more practical game lance in length. It lets people choose what they want that suits their situation.

Definitely the shorter, I primarily use them for gaming and I can see the longer ones snapping fairly easily (as cool as they do look)

The realistic length lance is beautiful... But in reality it might be a bit impractical... But I want my minis to look pretty!!!! Agh... I feel that whichever option I'm not voting for will be the right one, so I'm not voting

I would go for both if possible, but if only one choice is possible I would say shorter to be more robust.

Maybe the answer is, why not both? I like the long lance and think they would look amazing on the field.

I'm torn... The purist in me wants the longer, realistic length (it's always bothered me that most don't have realistic length for a lance!) however, it would look a little odd compared to the majority of models, and is highly likely to break...so I'm thinking Shorter.

To me personally, short ones look like toothpicks. Between the fact that the normal weapons are over scaled so that they have a certain presence, and the lances are always reduced. The result is that they all have very similar dimensions. But I am very interested to know how you like them. Normal printing resins are relatively flexible, much more so than plastic. It doesn't have to be a problem. The only thing is that we won't put horizontal lances so that they don't hit other units.

I'll break them if they are long and thin. Resin minis are brittle.

It seems to me that long spears on a miniature are not very practical for transporting and playing them.
