Yes, this could also just be an issue of the lighting in the rendering software that you use exaggerating the shadows. I'm sure with a good paint job it could look a lot more feminine.

Think that it is very easy for us to soften the faces. But if we do that, the prints won't have any detail and will be very difficult to illuminate. If the shadow is too hard with the paint, it is as simple as to lighten it a little bit more. But if we don't mark the shadow area, it will be very difficult for most people to draw it.

Looks like a dude to me. I'd call those flat cheeks, a strong chin, and a strong jawline. If it said "Priest" instead of "Priestess" I'd just be wondering at the shape of his breastplate and why he's wearing high heels.

how? it has soft features and round cheeks, pronounced lips, and pointed chin. she's just got an angry expression on, she otherwise has nothing 'masculine' going on besides not having hair

This is a much better version in my opinion. It gives the feeling of power and authorithy. I like it alot, for me I would add with green stuff a hairtail just like the blind priestress from mordheim. Thank you very much for the extra efford, I am looking forward to a male version next time ;)
