As much as I would also like to see more fallen lineage minis I understand. I'm just happy to get newer releases sporadically which both expand and evolve the army - like with the recent fallen lineage and tree kin releases. I also appreciate the approach to modularity but also the dynamic poses and unique designs. I look forward to kitbashing elves and humans with historical minis (which it doesn't seem like many other designers facilitate). I also look forward to seeing Lion elf infantry at some point 🙏🏼

That doesn't make sense from a design perspective, nor from a commercial one. From a design point of view, we would only be repeating ourselves, working on repeated ideas without developing new ones. We could create a race in six months and then move on to the next one. But miniatures are another matter. It's not about bringing more people in to make them faster, but rather about coming up with better ideas to do them better. From a commercial point of view, we have the communication capacity that we have. Communicating one fantasy over another similar one only creates confusion, and it might force the audience to choose. The goal here is to attract new audiences, which will make LastSword more stable in every aspect.

yes

My interest in historical miniatures stops around mid 15th century. So anything from ancients to the end of HYW is fine. I don't have much interest in the musket era. So for the musketeer it all depends what the loyality rewards are, otherwise I will skip the months that are beyond late 15th century.

Yeah, while I like this (semi) historical addition and upgraded my tier for it. I would still have preferred that the extra manpower would have been used to complete i.e the Fallen lineage faster. We are still missing a lot for that range and we know that there will be zero new Fallen lineage miniatures for the rest of 2024 :-(

In terms of themes, I would love to see historical minis that aren't given as much attention. For instance - eastern Romans (byzantines), varangian guard (vikings who fought for the byzantines!), celts, bulgars, Armenians, bronze age Mesopotamia

David

I hoping for historical miniatures which are modular and compatible with the fantasy range (even if just heads and hands)

Musketeers? What happened to finishing up existing ranges, dark elf scouts for example? The only 'advantage' with this new system is that I now know they won't be coming for at least 4 months...

Really love where this is going. There is a definitive lack of good Swashbuckling/Musketeer type miniatures. Specifically, miniatures armed with rapiers and pistols with 17th century aesthetics.

Th

I like the aesthetic of the musketeer, I'm hoping your 'swashbuckling' miniatures will make for good pirates that have a dash of pirates of the carribean style about them.
