Sorcery and Seduction Chapter 13

Outside the bathroom she could hear the bustle and chatter of students within the Three Broomsticks, and Hermione sighed before she opened the door and headed back in.
She made her way across the crowded pub to where Ron and her were seated, and momentarily paused when she caught sight of her date. Ron was already eating, having gotten their food while she was freshening up, and not bothered to wait for her to return. The sight made her stomach twist at his casualness, and Hermione pushed down her rising frustration as she reached their table.
Their date had gone nothing like she expected, and a part of her was frustrated at setting her expectations so high. Unlike herself, Ron had put little effort into his outfit, wearing an old quidditch jumper of all things with his hair not even straightened. He hadn’t planned their date well at all, leaving Hermione to do all the work.
She had pushed through and ignored his lack of preparation at first, telling herself that she was dealing with Ron of all people, but as the date went on it only became worse. Ron seemed to have little patience or regard for her own interests, making every conversation about Quidditch, and not even thinking to ask her about what she wanted to do on their date.
Hermione watched as he devoured his own meal without any manners, not even bothering to use silverware as he instead shoved food in his mouth with his hands. Her own appetite withered and died as she watched him eat, and her food lay forgotten after a while.
Eventually, Ron seemed to notice she wasn’t eating. His gaze went to her food, then to her uneasy expression, and then back to her food.
“Hey, um, Hermione- are you going to finish that?” Ron spoke while chewing, gesturing at her leftovers.
With a grimace she pushed her plate over to him, and Ron pounced on her own leftovers and began devouring it with renewed vigor. Wonderful. It was barely tolerable to see Ron eating without manners in the Great Hall, where he was just another student among the masses, but seeing it on their date was another thing entirely.
It made her wonder how Daphne Greengrass was able to get along with Harry, especially when all of his clothes were old, worn, and oversized. Sure, Hermione knew that Harry was much more polite and well-mannered in comparison to Ron, but she couldn’t understand how Harry even got along with Greengrass in the first place when they were just so different. Then again, Harry started wearing nicer clothes since he began dating her.
The two of them soon left the Three Broomsticks, and Ron turned to her once they were outside with a smudge of pudding left forgotten on his chin.
“I’m going to head back to the castle now.” Ron said as if he had completely forgotten they were on a date. “I guess I’ll see you around, Hermione.”
“I’ll see you too, Ronald.” She replied, but Ron had already turned and was making his way back to the castle. Arse.
Hermione knew then and there this was a mistake. The only other date she had gone on had been with Viktor last year, and that had ended horribly because of Ron. Now that she had officially gone on a date with Ronald Weasley, she could safely say that he was terrible when it came to romance. I shouldn’t have even asked him out.
The reason she had asked him out in the first place was to get back at Harry. It made her angry to see her best friend be the center of all school gossip, with nonstop rumors circulating the school population about how Harry’s relationship with Greengrass was supposedly going strong.
She couldn’t count the number of times she returned to the Gryffindor girl’s dorm only to see Lavender and Parvati gossiping over rumors about Greengrass dating her best friend. And that was without mentioning how Harry acted around his supposed girlfriend in the DA meetings, something that irked Hermione to no end.
If I have to see Greengrass press her tits against him one more time… Hermione mentally growled in irritation, doing her best to ignore Greengrass’s big tits in comparison to her own. The sight of the blonde Slytherin practically throwing herself at Harry was nearly commonplace in the DA meetings.
In the end she decided not to head back to Hogwarts just yet, and instead settled for wandering the village while trying to shake off her despair. My first date ended badly because of Ron Weasley, and now my second date ended badly because of Ron Weasley. The only upside seems to be that I’m not crying this time.
It was as she casually strolled the outskirts of the village that something caught her attention. The put-together, snobby form of Pansy Parkinson with her hair done in a bob walked alone, heading down the street before she entered one of the village’s inns. Hermione paused for a moment, wondering just what her school bully was up to, before something else caught her eye.
Harry was following her. And not just that, but Hermione watched as her best friend entered the same inn, covering himself in his invisibility cloak as he did so. No doubt he was following Pansy for some reason, but why?
Hermione swallowed in apprehension, and followed the two into the inn as well. She didn’t enter right away, taking her time to avoid the witch who was working at the front desk, before she dashed across the lobby and down the hallway that led to the inn’s different rooms.
“Homenum Revelio.” She whispered, using the spell to detect any humans nearby. Her spell counted seven people, with one room containing three while the rest contained one person each.
Harry must be in the room with two others. She decided, locating the room towards the end of the hall. Hermione listened carefully, but couldn’t hear anything on the other side of the door. The doors must be enchanted to be soundproof.
Harry could be in danger. She bit her cheek in worry at the thought, knowing that Harry had been in much more dangerous situations before, and could easily handle the likes of Pansy Parkinson. Still, he could have been led into a trap.
Her mind went to Harry’s relationship with Greengrass, and the possibility that she had something to do with this. Greengrass and Parkinson shared a dorm after all, and it didn’t seem too far-fetched that this could all be some scheme to trap Harry and get him in trouble with Umbridge. Or Voldemort.
Hermione grasped her wand in worry at that thought, steeling her nerves before she lunged forward and pushed open the door. The room was unlocked, and she swept in with her wand held high to scan the room before shutting the door behind her.
Parkinson lay unconscious on one of the room’s chairs, her form disheveled as if she had been hit by a stunning spell. Hermione wondered if Harry had stunned her, and she began carefully moving through the room only for a strange clapping noise to get her attention.
The noise came from the other side of a partially closed door that led to another section of the room, and Hermione began to carefully approach it. When she was close enough, she leaned in to peek through a small opening left by the partially-open door, only to hold her hand to her open mouth in shock.
It was the sight she had only read of in erotic novels and magazines, something she had never thought she would come upon in her lifetime.

The woman’s loud screams broke Hermione out of her reverie, and she shakily got to her feet and practically ran out of the room. Once in the hallway she shut the door behind her, nearly falling over as she panted and gasped for breath. What did I just witness?

He didn’t even speak as his first spell erupted from his wand, a simple disarming charm that kicked stray dust off the ground and launched itself across the room powerfully. The brightness of the spell was nearly blinding, and he watched as Neville practically threw himself to the ground in order to avoid it.
But his spell wasn’t directed at Neville, and instead at Dean, who opted to shield instead of dodge. Harry watched as his roommate’s shield simply ceased to exist as his spell pierced it, shattering the shield to pieces effortlessly and sending Dean flying unconscious across the room.
Zacharius Smith swore loudly from the side, the typical cockiness gone as he turned toward Harry and sent spells flying his way. He smacked the first one aside effortlessly, and deflected the two spells after that. Smith soon wised up and tried something else, sending a bombardment curse at his feet.
The curse exploded part of the floor, and Harry jumped to the side while pushing the debris out of his way. He didn’t even bother with wand movements as he rather pushed the debris away with the force of his own pure magic. He spun and twisted his body to avoid a few more spells from Ron and Neville, before moving his wand in a quick swirl.
“Protego.” He whispered, and a glowing shield large enough to hide a thestral behind appeared.
He watched as Ron, Neville, and Smith pelted it with their own spells, wearing themselves out and panting with exertion as his shield didn’t even crack.
“Damn it, Harry!” Ron yelled at him from across the room, his face lined with sweat. “Quit hiding behind a shield!”
“If you say so.” He smirked, dispelling his shield before pointing his wand in their general direction. “Serpensortia.”
“Shit.” Zacharius Smirth swore as a huge snake left his wand, not quite the size of the basilisk but still terrifying. The serpent landed with a loud thud, and immediately began making its way towards the trio.
Ron and Smith began launching every spell they could think of at the snake, meanwhile Neville fled and began running away from the two. Harry tracked the boy with his wand carefully, preparing his next spell with a devious grin.
“Titillando.” He smirked, launching the tickling hex at Neville.
The purple hex came out way too strong, missing Neville but still making the boy fall, before it hit and blasted apart a nearby pillar.
“Watch it Harry!” Neville squeaked in fright.
“Sorry.” He grimaced, putting his wand down. “Want to end things there?”
Neville nodded his head uneasily, and he turned back to Ron and Smith who were still battling his snake. Harry opened his mouth to tell them to stop, only to realize that he had no idea how to get rid of his conjured snake.
Might as well tell it to go away. “That’s enough.” He hissed in parseltongue, eliciting gasps from around the room and getting the attention of the huge snake. “You can leave now.”
The snake looked at him and nodded, and then dissipated like any conjuration would after enough time went out. It left them all standing in an awkwardly quiet room, and Harry could feel the eyes of everyone on him. On second thought, I probably shouldn’t have used parseltongue.
He looked to the side, and saw Daphne looking at him with a hungry look unlike any he had seen before, the blonde Slytherin nearly salivating as she seemingly fucked him with her gaze alone. The other Slytherin girls didn’t look much different from her, while the girls from other Houses seemed equally wary of him and impressed at the same time.
Everyone in the DA meeting got back to spell practice from that point onward, and soon enough he was helping his girlfriend with her wandwork.
“You took Susan, didn’t you?” Daphne asked him as he helped her with wandwork, and he could see the way the mere thought of him claiming the redhead excited her.
“I did.” He replied, taking a glance over at the redhead from across the room. “She’s now part of my coven.”
“It was amazing to watch you fight those four.” Daphne said breathlessly, a look of devotion in her gaze that almost frightened him. He could feel her large breasts squish against his side, her nipples hard and almost indenting through her shirt. “You have no idea how excited it made me to see you dominate them, and how everyone will know how powerful you are.”
No wonder Voldemort was able to recruit so many Slytherins, especially if simple shows of power excited them this much. Harry thought with some amusement, taking note of the Carrow twins from across the room, as both were glancing his way with hot and bothered looks on their features. Even Astoria looked somewhat unfocused after his demonstration, a cute blush on her cheeks.
He was so fucking powerful now. Harry could feel the sheer power her had accessible at his fingertips, and could only wonder what it would have been like back in that graveyard if he had this kind of power then. His spells were practically blazing in intensity, his wand barely able to keep up with the magic he pushed through it. And it wasn’t just his own magic, but with his coven magic added to the mix, making him nearly unstoppable compared to before.
Daphne. Susan. Narcissa. Harry could feel their connection to him through the bonds of his coven, and the way they powered him. It went beyond a connection of their magic to his own, down to the roots of their very souls being intertwined with his own.
Harry felt like he could cast for days at a time with just the few coven members he had gained, and the benefits didn’t just stop there. His own body felt more powerful, his muscles strengthening, his mind seemed to get sharper, and his cock almost seemed to swell to a bigger size.
He needed to be more careful. With the kind of power he was wielding, a simple jinx could act like a bone-breaker. Cast a simple shoe-knotting charm, and he might hang himself.
He admired the girls around him, most of them barely able to concentrate after his demonstration. He had three members in his coven, but it wasn’t enough. Harry knew that he needed more if he was to defeat Voldemort. He looked at the girls, the witches who were watching him in awe just moments earlier. So many were willing to be with him, and already several were just waiting for him to take them. I’ll take them all. Every last one of them.

Hermione struggled to concentrate. She struggled to do anything after Harry’s performance earlier. She bit her lip, desperately trying to focus on her wand work, and get her mind off the powerful green-eyed wizard.
“Hermione, can we talk?” A sudden voice got her attention, and she spun in suprise to face Hannah Abbott.
The Hufflepuff girl looked almost apprehensive as she stood there, waiting for her response, all the while Hermione wondered what it was she wanted. The girl was more concerned with gossip than grades, and Hermione wasn’t exactly friends with her. Hannah was considered a blonde bimbo by most of the school, and subsequently one of the most attractive girls in their year. And as the saying goes with blondes… Hannah wasn’t exactly all that bright.
“Do you need help with something?” Hermione asked, guessing the girl needed help with a spell.
“Not exactly.” Hannah’s eyes darted around the room in worry, as if to make sure no one was listening in. “Have you noticed anything different with Potter?”
“With Harry?” Hermione asked, receiving a nod in response.
For some reason her mind went back to Hogsmeade, when she had walked in on Harry and Narcissa Malfoy having sex. It had been the center of her thoughts for many days now, and a masturbation fantasy unlike any other.
“I…” Hermione paused, doing her best to calm herself. “Somewhat, why?”
“I think… I think that Harry has gone dark.” Hannah whispered, her eyes wide with terror.

There had been Harry’s bold interest in the opposite sex, combined with him suddenly dating Daphne Greengrass of all people. She had seen his newfound assertiveness when the DA started in Hogsmeade, and then again at every meeting since. And that wasn’t mentioning her walking in on him with Narcissa Malfoy of all people, or even that he just used parseltongue without a care in the world in front of them all.
Putting all of it together made her conclude she was dealing with a different Harry Potter, one who might possibly be ‘going dark’ as Hannah said. But there was also that dark part of Hermione’s mind, being the part that was secretly attracted to the new Harry.
“I…” Hermione paused and swallowed in worry. “I think you might be right.”

Yes they could talk to Harry but teenagers rarely act with perfect rationalism! Besides, It already seemed like Hermione wanted to confront Harry with her questions already but was still working her way up to it. Hannah seems to have sealed her convictions about confronting Harry. But the one thing bothering me is that I don’t think Hermione would EVER agree with a mere acquaintance instantly after they went up to her out of the blue saying “I think Harry is dark” while giving zero evidence to that fact. She’s seen way too much of Harry’s caring, selfless, and heroic aspects to just go “oh yeah sure Harry is dark” I could see Hermione saying something along the line of “I’ve also been a little worried about Harry lately, let me research this some before we attempt to confront Harry for some answers”
