Version 9 + Project News

First and foremost, my apologies on the radio silence. I've been dealing with health issues for the past week leading up to the holidays. I just got over it a few days ago. I'll also be going to get dental treatment (finally!) this month, so I'm very happy about that. Thanks for your support during this time.
I'm finishing up the renders for version 9 this week and I'll aim to release it no later than this weekend.
After Version 9's release, I want to complete the game in one big release. This might take some time, so my ETA on the final release of TGD is Feb '25.
During that time, these are my main goals:
Polish the game.
Fix some lingering issues with mechanics, pacing, etc.
Add "Room Service" feature.
Pack the game with rewarding content.
Sound Design (perhaps voice if I can find an inexpensive way to add it)
The game has several endings, Good, Normal and Bad. I'll need to add them.
I want to utilize systems that have already been added, or make them better. If that's not possible then I might remove them entirely.
The final version of the game will be either 11 or 12, depending on the amount of content added. Basically that means another 40-60 events, perhaps more depending.
As previously mentioned, eventually I will replace the art and consider the game complete! Everyone as a Patron will get it for free at that time.
What's after that? Well, that's up to you. I will be introducing prospective "successors" to Those Golden Days and Patrons will get to decide on which concept they'd like to play.
The first of those introductions is called -
Synwood
Themes:
magical fantasy, elves, milf, harem, man-of-the-house.
Premise:
A human finds himself in an unconventional Elvan community full of milfy elves of all types ; Drow, High Elves, Wood Elves, Half Elves.
(reference art above, not actual art from the game - but you can expect some of the elves to look like that!)
For this, I'm seeking to streamline the navigation and interaction aspects of the game so that the player can focus on having more fun. These are concepts I am also putting to work in TGD as well.
I'll tell you more about the other candidates over the coming weeks.

Yes. A few people have expressed dismay that the project wasn't completed. Since I have a better mastery over programming lately, and I have been working to make my workflow more efficient and productive, I decided to "redo" that project entirely. It will be different from the first one in many ways, so I am a bit nervous about that. But, at the same time, it will be closer to what I originally envisioned (which is, defeating monsters, obtaining materials and then making "monster girls"). The main reason I haven't mentioned it anywhere is because I will be working on it in my spare time without too much added pressure. I think it would be overkill to add more deadlines to the mix. When there's enough progress then I will release it.

Oh, I've been meaning to ask this question for a while. I have forgotten which forum it was mentioned, but I thought I read that HOM factory may be wrapping, well, restarting to wrap up before your retirement. Did I read that correctly? If so, will it be its own separate patreon or included in one of your others, this or another one?
