First - an apology.
I'm sorry, I thought I had more time. I thought I could bring more games to you, but it seems like that is not possible.
Things are progressing a lot faster (in terms of laws being passed) than I thought and states (particularly southern states, one in which I happen to live) are passing "anti-porn" laws. Oklahoma, for example is passing a law which levies a 100,000$ fine + felony charge + federal prison time for those found guilty of possessing, distributing or creating adult content.
I thought I had until mid year, but it seems that's not the case either. I probably have until April , and that's a conservative estimate. Realistically, I should actually be stepping away from all of this right now.
I had plans to do a few more projects before then, some super casual stuff that's easier to create - but I'm cancelling those projects. (Which sucks because I was really, really looking forward to making Isekai Inn - I may even still chance it XD ).
At the same time, version 9 may very well be the last release of TGD. I will strive to complete the game with version 10, seeking an April release - but that may not be possible.
I would like to thank everyone who has supported the game up until now. I appreciate your support and interest in my work. From here on out, I'll be striving to make TGD the best it can possibly be with the remaining releases for the game.

I guess we really can't learn from history after all. I wonder if this is how it felt prior to or at the beginning of the Prohibition era. You've already commented on the Depression, I hope we're not repeating that era. Thank you for hanging in there as long as you have.

Last year my peers were telling me that Trump wouldn't get elected and that Project 2025 is "batshit crazy". Now he's president and making P'25 a reality. Your free to believe what you like, but beliefs won't save us from reality. Look at economic indicators, the way companies behave, and so on. All of them have braced for a depression (recession at best), and stock market analysis also support this. In other words, even if porn isn't "banned" we've got far bigger problems. The last time a great depression hit the US (in the 20's) suicides happened by the hundreds each day for decades and people ate grits for lunch, breakfast and dinner. The largest wealth transfer in this country also occurred then, and that's exactly what the rich want. It's always been about transferring wealth to the upper crust, they just needed to con enough people to do it. They've succeeded. Times are about to get really, really hard in America for all of us.

No one else is talking about it because most of their supporters are conservatives. They are more afraid of losing financial support than calling attention to the issue. I, however, have no such qualms. All it takes is the government leaning on a company like Patreon and they now have all your info, ready to fully prosecute. I've told my peers about this months ago, and none of them listened. They have been warned so they will just have to deal with the repercussions of their choices. And, if I'm wrong then they can just laugh at me. As for me, these laws are already being drafted into being in my state, so I'm out of the game.

Ok i see what your saying now. I doubt it will last or go as far as some think the porn industry is to dam large to let something like this to happen. But that again is my own opinion. If it happens it happens. But again really love the game if you can't finish it oh well.

I don't watch the news its a waste of time and half of it is fake. Imma read this project 2025 thing. It's just im subscribed to a few people who do the same and none of them are talking about this and a few of my friends draw porn they never mentioned any of this but who knows.

It's been state news for a while now and national news for many months. It's called Project 2025. You know, the thing Trump said was "nonsense" and then, the second he won - turned around and said it was 100% the blueprint for what he plans to do to the country. And so far, he's been making good on that promise. So I have to ask where are *you* reading the stuff you read? In fact, you really don't even have to read at this point, you just have to pay attention.

That's what the proposed bills say. They passed the laws you're talking about years ago. Pornhub is already banned in several states (as in, it doesn't matter if you provide ID - you can't access the site at all). And in others, they require ID verification, but as I mentioned - those laws were already passed years ago now.

I'm just going to say idk where your getting this porn ban thing but all I know is most of it isn't really ture or being blow out of portion. The most that is happening it sites will be verifying age but requesting proof by ID, like pornhub. But that's my opinion. I really enjoy the game and I would love to see it finished but if not that's fine to.
