By higher/ lower quality, I mean the number of CGs in a specific scene. For example, there were 3 different CGs on average in the prologue (6 if you include variations like opened mouth). The first scene in version 0.12 has 5 CGs (10 if you include variations).
I know the game currently lacks a lot of content, so I want to know if I should change my approach.

Does less content mean that the game will be shorter or does it mean that updates will be less frequent?

It's super hard to answer this if I don't know which aspect's quality we're talking about specifically, but in general I probably love the fantasy of your game more than the technical aspects (which probably means more content, less quality?). Again though, I could easily fuck myself over with that answer very quickly without knowing what quality specifically would suffer.
