Yeah that was initially but she sent him back. If you recall from the first episode of their arc in their room Faifa started asking how is he and Yotha asked basically how is he since he never asked how is Fai after being sent back. That's gonna be a huge source of Fais trauma for sure

I definitely misunderstood their WHOLE situation lmao .. cause I thought Yotha and Faifa was split up and Fai was with his mom and Yotha went with his dad.. so when Fai was staring at his mom crazy .. I was like I missed something LOL

as a reninder, the mom and dad split years ago then Fai went with her for years but she sent him back to live with the dad when he was in 9th grade (at the time, IIRC she was living in the US). So basically split home and super absent mom
