"First Night"

This short takes place a few months into Colson and Sebastien's budding relationship, and the first time Sebastien stayed over at the Graingers' home - prompted by an innocent request from Toby, who just wanted to spend more time with Sebastien, who he'd quickly latched onto for a number of reasons.

I do a lot of daydreaming (sometimes to a fault), and I was thinking over how staying over at your boyfriend's house for the first time when he had a child was a different situation with its own unique considerations, as compared to single people. I figured that Colson and Sebastien didn't approach the idea themselves out of consideration for Toby; Colson wouldn't want to leave Toby behind to go spend the night at Sebastien's (even if Jo and Nico are amazing babysitters), and Sebastien wouldn't have wanted to take Colson away from Toby. Leave it to little leaf to bridge the gap with an offering of video games and pancakes.

This comic is so wholesome it put a smile on my face, thank you.😊 That was a good idea to have Sebastien spend the night over the Graingers house for the first time because Toby wanted him to. It shows how much Toby liked Sebastien and how close they have become. It's like Toby is bringing Colson and Sebastien closer together. It's so sweet to see little Toby latch on to Sebastien arm and drag him upstairs to have Sebastien read him a story. Those last two panels on the last page pulled my heart strings. Hearing Sebastien say (this feels like home) was so heart warming. When a place feels like home, and you found people who care about you, then you know you found the place where you belong. This comic was fantastic. I'm looking forward to reading more in the future. Keep up the good work.👍
