Book 3 release problem+ chapter delay.
🕑 Added 2023-11-23 02:49:50 +0000 UTCOkay: this is in the interest of transparency. After two relatively smoothly released volumes, I have managed to have a bit of a cockup with this one. Effectively there were two problem chapters.
One, where I used the old patreon chapter instead of the revised chapter. This is where Tigu first meets Delun. The other was where Xianghua meets Ri Zu. That one just somehow disappeared between the developmental edit and the copy edit, and I just did not notice its disappearance. A couple of beta readers also missed this, But their job was more finding and fixing mistakes in grammar and thus it's understandable that something like this slipped through. The final editor I used was different from the dev editor who worked on most of the book as well. Finally, Editing fatigue and being extremely ill at the end of the edits certainly didn't help.
Now. The good news is that this is all being fixed. There should be a free update to the kindle and Audio versions of the book relatively soon, which is the benefit of digital publishing. I have also taken steps to ensure this doesn't happen again.
This doesn't change the fact that its a mistake on my end and I would like to apologise to everybody for it.
My day has been spent fixing this mistake, and thus the chapter will be delayed today. Again, sorry for the pausing on the cliffhanger, but I needed to fix this as fast as I could. My only wish is that it didn't happen in the first place.

Are the audiobook and kindle one fixed yet? I’m not sure of the difference so I can’t check and I didn’t want to start book 3 until it’s fixed.

I have to be totally honest; I started the audiobook, and after a few Chapters, I skipped the build up to listen to the epic showdown in audio. I know myself well enough that I wouldn’t enjoy the great chapters in the buildup, waiting for the epic clash in audio form. Now I can wait for the update and truly enjoy the buildup. I enjoyed it the first time because I didn’t know the climax was coming, and I wanted to appreciate it properly again with the great narrator!

Sorry that there was a mistake but at least it seems easy to fix. I’ve been listening to the audio book version and I’ve been enjoying it immensely. Looking forward to listening to book 4.

It's not missing it was a rewrite. It's near the start when tigu is fighting her first opponent. There a part were Yun and Gou are talking trying to make out what she's saying to Tie delun. That's suppose to be us(the reader) just watching it from tigu. I know this cuase this is my book and noticed it the very second I heard it cause I've read it like 40 times.

Happens to the best of us, I once sent an official letter misspelling both my own name, their name and the name of hospital I worked at. It was also double checked by atleast 2 other people

Almost makes me wish there had been a paper copy already. Misprints like that usually become a collectors item for the future if the series gets popular enough. Unfortunately, as more and more things become Digital, we will probably see less of that.

There's always something that editors and copy editors miss. I'm glad you're transparent about the problem and also that it was caught before the finality of physical printing. Things like this are much more expensive to fix after they've been printed.
