Absolutely wonderful work! Its perfect! I agree with all the previous comments’ praise, but I don’t think vajra is important enough for the cover yet. She could get pics in her entertaining side chapters, especially the heart-warming defend the young master scene. But this family portrait is before the birth and perfect!

Cool thing I noticed? There are cracks that spread from the left to the right along the floor. They mix into the branches at the far right. Cool detail

Took me a minute to realize who Bowu was, but they all look so good! Yin is very lovely, Wa Shi is cute, Chunky and Pi Pa look so peaceful together, Ri Zu sending the little heart to Bi De is adorable, Bi De himself looks like a soft ball of fluff, even Ba Be, looks stoic and noble. The humans all look great too!!

It's s basic marketing tactic. you reduce the price of the first book to lower the mental resistance to buying that first book of a new series. After that readers will be invested and more willing buy follow up books full price. Sometimes the first book will even be at cost to encourage new readers
