Progress Report: July Week 1
🕑 Added 2023-07-05 12:31:50 +0000 UTCA new month and progress continues. This week I worked on getting the formation feature working with chapter 2 as well as cleaning up chapter 2 a little and adding more. Positive note, the whole Island of Sakura that we see in chapter 2 is now fully explorable save a few places like the Mine and Lab (Which will be future dungeon areas) as well as most of the Old City Island.
Along side of this I have been cleaning up and balancing items and battles, while the regular battles may not be as challenging and allows for a build up, I have been trying to make boss/Elite battles a little hard while allowing a playthrough without too much grinding (For now at least, in the future there will be more areas so the main story line quests will have spikes in difficulty.)
Saying this, chapter 2 (Second half) will still need some work and dialogue changes will be done on the next update, not this one. I will begin to put together chapter 3 this week as well as I do this. As much as I just want to keep adding more, and more, I will try my best to have it ready this month.
As always, I thank you all so much for the support and will continue to keep motivated to see this game to the end.

Wise choice, as there will be loads of new things added and you won't be able to carry the save to see the 3rd chapter. I should hopefully have it done by end of month if it goes smoothly.

Thanks. I will hopefully have a way to have a smooth run-through will little to no grinding needed. Once I start adding extra areas and dungeons I will amp up the hardness.

I haven't played chapter 2 yet . waiting patiently for part 3 to hit it all up with all the fixes and improvements lol

Can't wait! I really like that you're trying to keep grinding to a minimum. I enjoy the RPG battles against bosses and when they are fresh encounters but find them tedious when they are the same encounter over and over again. Striking a balance seems difficult without taking away the RPG aspects. I think your rather extensive upgrade and leveling system are a good incentive to grind without it feeling forced. That said, boss encounters should be challenging. Are we going to be getting mech customization yet? I've really been looking forward to customizing her!
