Good news and "meh" news.
Good news first. Progress continues and I'm making some smoking hot scenes for Connor and Alex (as you can see).
Unfortunately, I'm also running into some incredibly irritating technical trouble. Here's another render I ran. There are a few problems with it, most of which I can fix, but one that has been kicking my butt has been the black lines around Connor's hand. I've been able to fix most of the texture issues in this, but the black lines have been insurmountable. Tomorrow, I'll probably scrap the approach I'm trying to take right now and try drawing the "white slime" in Photoshop, because I'd like to get back to forward momentum and finishing up this scene for y'all.
