I cannot say if I will re-attempt this topic right now or not. I am rather distracted by the worsening condition of my father...so things are not easy for me atm.

So much of what you describe resonates with me. I've sampled most of the sexual frequency / exclusivity spectrum, and to be honest I'm still looking for that sweet spot where I find the most fulfillment... Being single gives me permission to try the field but ultimately having one or a (very) small number of intimate relationships that I can depend on, that I have the energy to attend to, that I have time to experience and enjoy and give back to is the goal. As I've said before, your journey is not unique and I deeply appreciate your willingness to talk about it in such an honest way.
