Luffy dont care for the title of king he just gonna use it as a tool to accomplish his dream of freedom. buggy constantly follows luffy in the story from 2 small fry pirates to 2 yonko. so who would take the title when luffy dont got a need to rule the sea?

He sent Big mom flying multiple times. He took full power attacks from Kaido and Big Mom, but he got one shot by Shanks. Mind you Kidd was fully healed and at full power.

Please tell, anywhere where Mihawk and spoke or was mentioned, that he had any desire whatsoever to find the One Piece and become King of the Pirates. And like I said, Mihawk pulled on Shanks and his entire crew without fear. Sha KS didn't k ow what Mihawk was there for and asked if he was there for a fight, which Mihawk scoffed in Shanks face and told him he wouldn't fight a one armed man. Oda already showed Mihawk is scared of anyone e or anything. He only cares about what he cares about, and once Shanks lost that arm, Mihawk sees fighting him would be unfair. The two fought when Shanks had both arms. Why would so.eone be scared of fighting the same person if it end either in Mihawks victory, a draw, or undecided. It makes no kind of sense.
