Yall giving young Oz too much credit. He knew what he was doing, when he got home his mom asked him where his brothers where and he lied and told her they were at the movie theater. Then a few hours later when they still weren't home she asked what movie they saw cuz she might need to go pick them up, and he lied again and said Beetlejuice. He lied to her twice about where they were. He lied for a reason, he lied so she wouldn't go looking for them. He's like 12 at this point, he's old enough to know what death is and what drowning is. He knew what he was doing
