I was thinking the same thing, it just does not match him at all. He has two voice actors apparently. One for present time dragon and the other for when dragon was younger like when he was talking to Vegapunk in that flashback on Ohara. I looked it up and apparently the voice actor for present time Dragon is 86 years old! Which is why he sounds different from when he preformed the role pre-time skip. Honestly hope they eventually stick with the 2nd voice actor who does flashback Dragon. I think his voice is a better match.
