bcz the 4kids of one piece ruined and permanently damaged the franchise, meanwhile the 4kids for yugioh is what most ppl grew up with, is popular for the most part and while iffy is still decent enough

Yes....it is. If 4kids didn't heavily censor the English version (in which even the Japanese anime is a little tuned down from the manga) and kept the original script you'd have a point. This is why they for a few episodes made the uncut English dub with the original cards, script and ost Ala how funimation did the dbz uncut episodes back in 04-05. I can only imagine the finger gun scene or the revolver dragon terrible English edit in the duelist kingdom final 4. We're not even going to talk about battle city censorship oh god no

I understand what you're saying, but there's a vast difference between the Dub and Sub. The English Dub flat out rewrote some scenes they considered to be too dark. They aren't going to be watching the show in its original form
