That lawsuit goes crazy. Apparently, Homies only got paid ONCE for making Live and Learn, and never knew about royalties and such. The lead singer of the band is basically suing Sega for YEARS of usage without compensation. He only found out he could do this BECAUSE SEGA asked him for the rights to use his lyrics (alone) for this movie. Next thing you know, Crush 40 (the band that made 90% of all Sonic tracks since SA1) realized they were potentially owed tons of money.

I'll keep the drunk text to a minimum here... THEY NEED TO DO THE STORY FROM SONIC 06/360! Sonic never had much of a story, like Mario, BUT they went hard with the stories in the 3D Sonics (at first) and now that we've gotten SA2's story, the only other true Story they have left from the games (that would work. There are other stories, they just wouldn't fit.) IS Sonic for the Xbox 360 from 06. If we get a 5th movie, that BETTER be the storyline. I'm pretty sure we're gonna replay some of the original Sonic movie from the 80s/90s in movie 4, which could mean some crazy original story telling set up the characters from the future (Blaze, Silver, etc.)

I wonder for the 4th movie if we're going to get Metal Overlord or if they're trying to keep it faithful to metal sonic in Sonic CD. If they go the CD route, we'll probably get Silver due to all the time travel

Ngl even if they do a super smash movie the likelihood of it having sonic in it is slim to me. If anything it is gonna have only the OG cast from the N64 version. Also nobody getting excited for live and learn was an actual let down. It’s literally one of the most iconic songs in sonic.
