Jerry, Goku is a profoundly great father that sacrificed his life twice for Gohan against Raditz and Cell, when he says “I wasn’t really involved” he meant literally in the sense that he wasn’t involved as much he would’ve liked, not that he was a “deadbeat or bad” by any means, and anyone that has actually paid attention to the series would know that. Enough with the BS agenda that he’s a bad father, it’s almost as bad as believing DragonBall has no story.
