I get why they skipped it but Virtual World is so fire, there's some clean underrated moments. Also when it comes to Dungeon Dice Monsters as an actual game irl, it flopped pretty bad. I think it was just way too complicated and took too much RNG to be practical. But in concept it's interesting and pretty fun. I played the game of it, and yeah when you get the hang of it it's fire. It's like a stylized sort of Chess.

I think that's why they skipped it, they just want to get to battle city. But that Rebecca episode is crucial, unless they plan on doing that before starting battle city.

If they skipped the first virtual world arc, does that mean they’ll also skip the 2nd one? They are connected. There’s also a ton of epic duels in that 2nd one.

With arc 3 ALSO being filler (tho It's some of the better filler in all of anime) I find it all to be irrelevant. Rebecca who??? I think she's in the movie, actually... lol 😆 But either way, she's just a brat in this part of the show. Her reintroduction is a MUCH better intro to her character, imo

I'm not even mad that they skipped the virtual world filler lol. Skipping episode 41 is kinda wild though. we see the resolution of duelist kingdom in that ep and the kaiba bros reuiniting

I agree, the filler where they go to that magic world is kinda irrelevant and if they did drop it, it wouldn't make a difference but the Rebecca one, She and her grandfather play a big part of Arc 3 so I don't know why they dropped that episode.

I think that one was kaiba was stuck a virtual reality game by his shady executives at his company and mokuba sought out Yugi's help and at the end Yugi, Joey, Mai, & Kaiba had to fight a 5 headed dragon.
