Which Pegasus was only able to do by cheating. Sure Duke doesn't know that but he had major blinders on. If Pegasus can beat him at his own game it stands than another person can and it means, as Yugi said, a creator can be beaten at their own game. Pegasus held a tournament for the best duelists in the world, logically at least one of those people could beat Pegasus.

If you ever feel like playing Dungeon Dice Monsters, the Gameboy Advance game is pretty fun for curiosity sake. There are ways on emulators you can unlock everything from the start (the grind to get through the game is ridiculous).

I mean, they haven't committed to anything else yet, and since this is a Nostalgia trip... Idk. I can see them quitting after the initial rush wears off. It's not a short series. It's 200ish episodes for the OG, GX, and 5Ds EACH. Can't just assume they continue. Either way, it's better they skip the BS and stick to the good shit in order to entice them to keep going further. I at least want the movies if they don't do GX.

If you want them to go beyond and do GX or 5Ds, then EXPECT them to skip as much as possible. There are whole filler arcs in this show, good or not. I can't blame them skipping the weakest offerings.

Just a heads up on the movies, guys... There are 3, but they are out of order, timeline-wise. If you wanna check em out, I'd say this is the best way to enjoy them: After Battle City, watch Pyramid of Light. It's pretty perfectly timed with the events of the show at that point and sets up the final arcs well. Dark side of Dimensions is the newest one, but it's SUPPOSEDLY a direct sequel to the OG Manga, which ends much like this anime, so despite it being newer, I'd watch it 2nd, after finishing this show (GX and 5Ds are anime only spin-offs). Despite being spin-offs, GX and 5Ds and the other shows are much more important to the card game itself. That's where you'd learn about Synchro, Pendulum, XYZ, Link summons and all the newer OP monsters and strategies. Whether you decide to watch beyond the OG or not... I'd suggest watching Bonds Beyond Time very LAST. That way, even if you don't watch GX or 5Ds, you'll still get a small introduction to their MCs (it's a movie where Yugi meets the other MCs that came after him in an epic timey-wimey story. It's only an hour long too 😆)
