A "1 on 1 fight," or "one-on-one fight," refers to a direct confrontation or competition between two individuals only, where each person is matched against the other, without any other participants intervening. This is a one on one by definition. If someone fights and the fight stops and the fights continues with another individual without the fighter being attacked while fighting the other individual it’s an individual fight just unfair or unfortunate circumstance. Broly 1v1 Vegeta and then 1v1 Goku and while Goku was defending against broly attacks Vegeta jumped in saying “it’s clear you’re not going to beat him by yourself” when Vegeta did that it did become a 2v1 but prior to that taking turns they did not jump broly and were running the 1s not the fair 1s but 1s

Yes sanji wasn't in that scene but he was next to nami before it when it was greyed out and he got his own focus right after, people doing to much imo bc in that panel sanji has pancakes too and animation has to move and make sense so him not being there was for fluidity of it being in motion
