1st reaction: Dumb as hell trade, people need to be fired. 2nd reaction: BEST move for both sides, and the NBA will benefit. Luka is set up as the successor to LeBron-Kobe-Magic, meanwhile Kyrie gets to team up with his FIRST legit big man since Kevin Love, and the Mavs are gonna gell more and get to the finals WITH A PLAN for once. The Mavs got better, sad to say, because Kyrie was a better LEADER for this team and now AD just solidifies who they are as a team. Luka complicated things. Honestly, I think the best thing for LUKA is that he gets a fresh start with a team that will have all the money and the pull to build around him. Playing with the LeBron will help him learn to become more professional, on and off the court, and THAT is why I'm excited to see where this takes our players. I'm a Lakers fan who was born and raised in Dallas. I bucks with the Mavs, but I honestly only ever liked Dirk, Luka, and Steve Nash. The entire 2011 squad was Goated too, tho. Jarring move, but I see it paying dividends for the league for YEARS to come. Imagine all the future Laker vs Maverick playoff matchups 😆
