100% people harp on Demon slayer about animation carrying but this show is literally 90% fight and animation. It appeases to the lowest common denominator hence the large popularity. It’s not a bad show, it’s just a very shallow show.

Fun facts: As much as I Glaze these guys, Evan and Pat included (if not mainly), I UNDERSTAND exactly who they are and where their "power levels" reside. It took all three of them to beat the elf boss and strong souls have the option to join hence the 3x rule. Even with Igris, he had to convince him before he was extracted. However, those he overwhelming defeats usually can be extracted first go. Also, don’t forget he couldn’t extract any of the demons in the demon castle. Even though he leveled up and climbed 75 floors he wasn’t able to use any of the increased abilities he gained. Extracting Tusk and his army was child’s play.
