doubt this form will be shown again since neva was the one to allow the transformation to happen so they have no concept of the blutz waves being the activation, oozaru the gateway or golden oozaru as proof you've gained control over oozaru. so there would be no reason to make a machine on a form the characters know nothing about. the only way i can see this form making a return is if the activation from neva allows goku to always transform to it but even then SSG is just stronger

They have given future Trunks and Gohan upgrades though. Trunks was able to go into super saiyan rage mode during the Goku Black arc, and Gohan has beast mode now.

They decided to make SSJ4 cause Akria had actually drawn up his own version which we see here in this episode. This version of SSJ4 is only achieved via magic so it’s no were near as powerful as SSJ God transformation.

With gt, the reason goku turned into an adult was because he couldn’t handle the power of ssj4 in his child body
