Some positions sometimes require you to work more hours than expected. Since she plays a crucial role in the company, asking for vacations and weekends is difficult. Skipping weekends could only increase her workload during weekdays. And let's not forget about Korean corporate culture. Many employees feel pressured to stay silent about overwork. Girly fake smiles every second of her life. So yeah, if i was her, i'd just quit as soon as possible, plan or not.
