Laundry Service v. 2.1.2

However, I have revised the implementation of the mod so much that all that is left of the original mod is the idea and I can consider this mod as my own.

Code optimization for the Patch from March 14, 2023. Also fixed the previously undiscovered bug where the "Ordinary Cleaning" service order was incorrectly performing an express cleaning without properly paying for it. Now you get the right orders. Finally, the previous French version, which I translated myself using Google, was kindly reviewed and enhanced by Heidi (Team de LuniverSims.com)! Thanks very much!

The following has been changed or updated in this version:
- I corrected an animation error that already existed in the ShuSanR version. The bug caused an LE message when a Sim tried to interact with the laundry basket while standing on the wrong side of the basket.
- The animation for the "Transfer to Sim Inventory" interaction on the Hamper has also been changed. The error from the original mod was also fixed, that the laundry was always fetched from the basket into the inventory in a neutral state ("used"). Now it can also get really dirty or wet.
- The price increase for laundry service during holidays has been removed again, otherwise the prices would also increase on all unnecessary holidays like Talk Like a Pirate Day as well. I find that unnecessary. The nightly surcharges remain!
- I found a way (I'm very proud of it) to remove the limit on the number of laundry orders! Now each Sim can do the laundry jobs as many times as they like without having to wait for the last job to be over! Time is money!
- Added a new interaction to clothes that have been folded clean, which can also be used to put the clean clothes in the laundry basket (if needed). Why not?
- Instead, I removed the individual send to the laundry service interactions from clothing items. After all, you don't want to take each piece of clothing to the laundromat individually... Everything first in the basket and then together in the laundromat. Sounds logical?
- I have adjusted the washing options so that the laundry only comes back scented with the Soft Care Dry Cleaning. Also, the clean and folded laundry can now randomly come back in all three existing object versions and not just in the default version.
- I have made further translations using the Google translator. Now the mod is available in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Czech, Polish, Russian and Chinese.
✒️ Mod Description
Don't feel like doing the laundry either? Does washing and drying take too much time? Or do you only have a small apartment and no space for the washing machine and dryer? The launderette service will help you!
This mod adds new interactions to the laundry basket and laundry pile, allowing you to send your dirty laundry to a laundromat for a fee! There are three different options in total:
- Ordinary Dry Cleaning - 2 hours (clean and dry)
- Express Dry Cleaning - 1 hour (clean and warm)
- Soft Care Dry Cleaning - 3 hours (pristine, warm and fragrant)
The cleaned clothes will be returned to your sim's inventory.

📌 General Installation Instructions
- Back up your current save files just in case!
- Download the zip archive and extract all files!
- Move the unzipped folder to your Sims 4 Mods folder!
- Path: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
- Please delete all files of the previous version of the mod first!
- Delete the game cache files (how)!

- Sims 4 Laundry Day Stuff Pack is of course required!
- The XML Injector from Scumbumbo is required for full functionality!
- You have to allow the scripts in your game settings.

I don't like the HLC mod and have never played it. I rarely use mods that overwrite too many game resources and I don't want to adapt my mods to such mods because then I have to depend too much on foreign creators. But you are welcome to share how it works together and if there are any conflicts. I would be grateful for your report.

This would be great if it worked with SimRealism HLC as it's perfect when you just don't feel like waiting or having to do the laundry.

Not directly as my mod doesn't overwrite any game resources. But the HLC mod overwrites laundry objects, so they might get changed, so my mod would potentially not work properly. But I don't know if that's the case. To be precise, I would have to study exactly how the HLC mod works. But that's not my job. That's why I don't like it when the mods overwrite something.
