Finn do be right tho. 27 and working. Don’t have time to watch them live, but listening to the podcast while working is easy and enjoyable. Get to relive some of the olds days I watched through, and hear more in depth stories then I would’ve ever known back then.

I don't like the idea of making a bunch of cuts to the podcast. Leave it in. I don't think you need to focus on being in a specific time limit or staying on topic. Old podcasts were awesome because people did it for fun and it was authentic. I like this podcast because it reminds me of that.

I can confirm, I listen to the pod on the train commute to work. No time to watch Soda's stream as I watch Hasan's stream at night. (EU) And Nick's stream is not something I enjoy anymore these days. :-(

38yo single dad, definitely listening on commutes or doing chores. Moved out of Toronto to the sticks, semi-isolated so Punching Down brings the vibes of decompressing at a buddy's house like I used to. I.e. good shit, good vibes, let the topics flow naturally bc it wouldn't work if they were forced. Would be surprised to find out the audience is majority age <25 or so. 30s has been denial that 40 is right there as well as unpacking what economics and politics is. I think that'll track naturally on the show. Nick definitely has the better grasp of it imo. Chance is -- just, what a fckn beauty. Phin is the actual foundation here, pay this man more money. The anchor keeping the boat out the weeds.

The part when Nick runs up to the camera and Soda pops around the corner with leaves just glaring daggers at Phin... fuck, I stop what I'm doing to make sure I absorb the pathos emanating from Soda and it makes me deeply happy in my core. Idk, something about Chance being angry at everything makes me feel like the world is okay and that I'm normal 😂
