"What was this man's plan?" Boom..... you know better then to ever assume Luffy has anything resembling a plan. He just, does whatever pops into his head and, anything that happens because of that is future Luffy's problem. And so pretty much ends Zou, a small arc that shakes everything we know and sets up our first look at the endgame of this series. As well as just ALL the Chopper appreciation! It is wonderful seeing him really get to show off what a truly amazing doctor he is, as well as to be in a place where the Straw Hats are just, so appreciated from the start for all they do.

We did see Pekoms use his devil fruit for a short time in Fish-Man Island. But it was just one scene and over 200 episodes ago so it is easily forgotten.
